Dev Log 6 (10/3/2025)
Hi guys, I'm Finn and I'm responsible for the UI art and some of the modelling for this game.
Since our last devlog, we have spent a lot of our time fixing the bugs in our game. As well as this we have polished and fixed many of the animations.
Following suggestions from playtesters of our game, we decided to go with a “wave system” instead of a set number of enemies on each screen.
Some other suggestions we went with included giving the player more health and having it so you recover power by hitting enemies instead of a recharging meter.
We believe these suggestions have really improved the feel of the game. New designs have also been made for the dialogue boxes and many new VFX have been added, the first boss has been finished and development on the second boss has been started.
In the coming weeks we plan to finish off the second boss, adding animations and VFX as well modelling his arena. We are also hoping to get the third boss done soon too.
