Dev Log 10 (21/02/2025)


Good day everyone! It is Sergiu again, the environmental artist. Since our last dev log, we have had yet another play test of the latest version of our game. The increased frequency of these tests help us implement these tweaks and fixes much quicker and more effectively. As with last time, the main changes are with enemy movement and animation tweaks, with enemy movement patterns and attack "tells" more obvious to the player, letting them strategise easier. This was a great improvement from last time, with players being able to progress further into the game. Further tweaking will be done There have been some artistic changes as well, with more VFX fixes for the second boss, as well as lighting and texture fixes too, including but not limited to new emissions for existing trim sheets, camera bloom and neon accents. It is in our sight to finally add some flavor to the environment, which would mean adding things like rubbish piles, puddles, more props, posters and billboards, which will all give the stages more variety and lighting effects. Along with these changes the new boss phases for the second and third bosses are hopefully to be complete.
